I had not been in the United Kingdom since 2013. How that happened... we will never know. I love the British landscape.
But in hindsight, I'm glad it took me over a decade to return. I wasn't looking around in the spirit much then, and I do love going into a place with as few preconceived notions as possible.
London, however, broke all my notions of what was going on spiritually.
To my great shock, I saw around 75% angelic activity compared to 25% dark activity. It's normally the other way around, or it's half and half... as it has been in most of the major cities I've visited in the past 12 months.
This, I feel, is promising. It seems like a sign of things to come... and an unlocking of strong positive movement. There's an undoing of the spiritual realm that has locked up the Isles for so long... and there is a bursting forth that will occur.

The timeline
I visited London on two separate occasions with a span difference of about 6-7 weeks. This is important, because I find that the spiritual realm can shift in a given time frame. This plane of existence is not static, the same that we are not static... the spiritual realm can, and should move.
The spiritual realm is moving and it is breaking open...
and as it in London let it be elsewhere. Amen.

My first moment of seeing in London was looking over Tower Bridge. I saw a huge ball of light, and as I focused my gaze, I saw that there were interlinked rings and eyes... and that it moved. The size of the creature was just larger than the bridge. Its form was stunning, imposing and fierce, but it seemed uniquely calm. (It looked like something out of Ezekiel 1.) All I could think was protection…
Continuing on, I disembarked from the river barge near Buckingham Palace. I saw similar creatures standing around the gates of the Palace, and I realized the connection between England's instutitions and her angelic creatures. Every system of human government has drawbacks, but this system seems to have held in place the spiritual atmosphere surrounding England.
There were definitely darker forms... but overall, light outweighed darkness. This was notable, as I have not often seen that.
It does feel that unjust decisions have had their weight... as well as hidden darkness. But this does not worry me. I know that Jesus will roll back the felt pads that have muffled the spiritual realm in due time.

Part Two… the protection.
When I returned to London just a few weeks later, I was staying in a high rise building on the west side of the city. Eating breakfast looking out over London, I looked in the spiritual realm and I saw huge angels. If I didn't know better, I'd call them "bruiser angels" Their huge selves stood taller than the tallest buildings and they looked down. They were not ones who were easily messed with.
Smaller, darker figures shifted beneath them. As I looked out, my bap sandwich in one hand, I heard the Lord say, "There is protection over London."
My sense as I watched, is that whatever else may slip through the cracks of London, that the overall theme is protection and oversight.
We don't know what we are protected from, most of the time. But we are indeed held and protected.
I tried to calmly drink my cappuccino, but I was excited.
Later that day, I went to Westminster Abbey for the first time. Very excited to see all the tombs, frankly, I eagerly went inside and was immediately confused by my own internal conflict.
While I felt a strange heaviness in the building, as I opened my eyes to see I saw angels. They were walking in robes, regal, watching, keeping. And my sense when I saw them was that they were good.
However... I also felt a very strange sense of heaviness. While mixture inside a church building is not at all new to me... I would say that the presence of mixture always makes me ask questions.
And so, I asked the Lord.
The best way to find out is to ask Jesus.
When in doubt, conflict or confusion, just ask.
As I asked, I found myself looking deep in the foundations of Westminster. I saw angels down below, and they were slowly cleaning away the darkness.
Restoring the foundations... removing all that was not to make all that was... right once again.

what I took away
I did not know that London was called the White City. One night, walking through Notting Hill, I heard Jesus say, "ask me about London. As me what I think."
So I asked.
"It is a White City on a Hill."
Whatever war England is caught up in during the days to come... its light will outnumber its darkness.
What is for you, London, is greater than what is against you.
The ripping open of the veil will set all the foundations right.
The posturing will be transform into positioning.
Here it comes.

for the rest of us
The light is coming to cast down all the darkness.

Hi Mari, I am fascinated by this! And honestly, reassures my heart. I’ve always been very drawn to the U.K. but particularly its history. So curious if you’ve been drawn to other parts.
